After the initial excitement reality set in. We need to see the doctor and make sure everything is cool. My wife the planner that she is has made sure that her gynecologist is also an OBGYN. for your reference all OBGYNs are gynecologist not all gynecologist are OBGYNs. So we make an appointment for the end of April cause there is no reason to see the doc before the 8th week. One week later we have moved up the appointment because "not me" is freaking out a little.
Wed April 15th. Appointment #1. the doc is cool. which for me is pretty important. and the appointment starts with a sit down in his office ( the size of a walk-in closet) where he proceeds to calm us down and congratulate us. then the exam.
So we were left alone in there for a couple of minutes and i took it as an opportunity to play with all of the the little toys and displays in there. I can now insert an IUD with the best of them.
After a couple of minutes and me getting yelled at for playing around the doctor arrives. WARNING: MEN stay by your ladies side DO NOT check out what the Doc is doing. 6 Weeks 3 Days is our bit of good news and everything is going very well. If you can find the embryo in that sonogram your one up on me. I have been told to look between the 2 'X's.
We make the next appointment for the 29th and are on our way.
it is starting to get real for me.
